M up 6:43:12am, M steps away from babies 6:45:20, M back to babies 6:46:27, does some fluffing, nestles down 6:48:46; feeding time 7:18:57; S/C#1-D in BD w/stick 7:44:13, D uses stick to try to hurry M up 7:44:24, D places stick on M 7:44:33 & M grabs it, D picks up stick & M gets up 7:44:39, M gets up; eaglets duck as D moves his stick across the nest 7:45:00, M works on Y-nook stick 7:45:13; M to LB 7:46:01 & out 7:46:09; D tucks kids in 7:47:24 & shimmies down; S/C#2-D is up eating when M comes in FD 8:25:27 (she takes a bit of food from him, lol); D to RB 8:32:17 & out 8:32:30; M up 9:23:13; Feeding 9:24:09; Feed more after looking around a bit 9:30:12; ps 9:31:51; M gets up 10:53:22; M stretches 10:54:34; Feeding 10:55:53; M gets up giving baby a little peck 12:09:45; Feeding 12:11:34; S/C#3- D in BD w/fluff 12:32:18; M to Lb 12:33:08; M out 12:33:18; D pulls nestover to pantry to nibble on 12:34:15; Feeding 12:34:58; ps 1:24:13; Feeding 1:24:30; S/C#4-D to LB 2:02:25 & it's Wrestle-Mania time for the kids, D out 2:03:14, M in SD 2:07:11; Feeding 2:31:02; M see Dad and calls to him 3:29:38, D in BD w/sm fish 3:29:45pm; M feeds babies 3:31:10; D rouses 3:31:53; D to LB 3:32:11 & out 3:32:18; Feeding 3:58:08; baby bites at mom 4:49:15; D in BD w/fish 4:49:38; M gets up after D starts nibbling on the fish 4:53:08; M feeds babies 4:54:24; D to LB 4:56:52; D out 4:57:03; M finally settles after digging and pulling in fluff 5:06:35; M rouses 6:00:55; Feeding 6:05:41.

March 2016

3/1 - Dad brought in a LIVE fish!

3/2 - Mom feeds the babies a sketti breakfast.

3/3 - One eaglet flaps his wings. Both parents were on the nest together for a couple of minutes this morning. Dad does some morning housekeeping and brings in a fish. He brings in an afternoon coot and Mom defeathers.

3/4 - Early morning PS by one of the eaglets. Mom brings in a pine bough to freshen up the nest. Video: Pine Time

3/5 - Fish to eat and pellets cast; sleeping babies. Mom brings in pine and Dad places it. Dad eats some leftovers and feeds the babies. 11:18 a.m. one PS's and gets some on Mom in the process. Wing flapping. Mom gulps down a fish tail. Babies in the evening sun. Mom almost gets PS'd on again. 

3/6 - Wing action from Mom when she gets up and heads to the pantry. Dad delivers a live fish. Family feeding today, and one P even feeds the other P a few bites. Both eaglets have huge crops tonight!

3/7 - Mom does a little morning yoga and the eaglets do a little bonking. One eaglet casts a pellet. Grass is spread all around the eaglets and all you can see is their heads. Mom brings in a stick and a little stick war ensues. Evening finds Mom gulping down a fish tail. Video: Pellet Be Gone 

3/8 - Mom brings in a pine cone branch and covers the eaglets with it. One eaglet tries desperately to cast a pellet. Dad brings in coot and Mom sends feathers flying everywhere. Mom devours the coot feet. Dad moves the pine cone branch and one eaglet pecks at Dad's tail. Video: Dad's Tail 

3/9 - Dad flies in with both claws full of grass and dumps it one eaglet. Video: Cover Up

3/10 - One of the eaglets moves a stick. Mom is really agitated in the evening, and she has a mishap when coming to the nest. Video: Mom's Crash Landing 

3/11 - Mom and the kids enjoying the sun.

3/30 - Rocky prancing around in the wee morning hours. One baby tries to cast a pellet and both babies flapped around and played. Dad brought in a couple of fish. Dad picks a small bird out from the left rail. Stunning photograph of Dad taken by Steve Salmon.
