7/2/17 - Cam 1 froze then goes black 4:05:16am. Cam 2: IR light off 6:20:54am; Dad in BD 13:26:45; He calls out a few times; "dancing feather" shed at 14:41:06, dances around from 14:41:24 - 14:58:40; D to LB 16:12:55; D out 16:14:03.

7/4/17 - D in 6:15:47am, moves a stk 6:17:41; IR light off 6:20:27; D out 6:25:53.

7/16/17 - Per Earlene Cameron: This photo was taken of Dad Berry on the evening of July 16, 2017. He was on Mom's favorite perch. Earlier that day, Bill and I had seen both Mom and Dad in a recently cut field eating an unfortunate fawn that was a victim of the blade. So, both of our favorite eagles are still in the area!!

6/17/17 - (126 & 124 days) Inchworm on RB 5:55:55am; IR light off 6:12:14am; female bluebird 8:16:51, 8:31:34, 9:04:07, 9:08:30, 9:11:07; all cams went offline.

6/18/17 Sun. (127 & 125 days) Cams down.

6/19/17 Mon. (128 & 126 days) Cams back up/reset 9:20am, no eagles seen; reset 6:29pm. 

6/20/177 Tues. (129 & 127 days) per JaniBop - Mom calls out 12:13:17am & D answers; IR light off 6:21:28am; bird flies by & great-crested flycatcher lands on a left branch 10:54:36; GCF is back 11:07:30.

Dad looking lonely - 6/23/17

6/23/17 - D in back SD 6:13:18am, pecks around a bit, sits looking lonely, pecks some more; D finds a scrap of something and eats it 6:15:58; D to LB 6:19:24, rouses 6:19:39; D to nest 6:23:14, D out BD 6:23:50; IR light off 6:24:00. 

6/25/17 - No eagles seen on nest. Ground report per Earlene C. - Mom is on her favorite perch this evening (no other eagles around).  

6/26/17 - Per JaniBop: You can hear mom @ 9:07:02am. Per TNT: M to nest 10:04:50pm; she sleeps in the nest until about 2:27am.

Per BEL-M & D can be heard chattering 5:51:35am & 6:11:45; per Sasha-squeeing can be heard from a distance, one of our B's? 6:13:56; squeeing again 6:16:28; possible B fly-by under right side of nest 6:16:31; per Jani-one of the babies did a flyby about 2:07pm (A/C 28:33:00); 4:57:24 you can hear one calling out; again at 4:59:59; closer to nest @ 5:30ish for a good while. I thought I heard both; B9 in to LB 8:38:50; B9 to nest 8:39:00; B9 pulls a stick from left rail 8:40:11; and moves it to right rail; Hops around nest 8:43:05; B9 to RB 8:43:38; B9 out 8:49:16; IR comes on 9:23:04.

*When Dad left the nest his morning, he went to their favorite perch & stayed there for 2 or 2 1/2 hours before he flew off toward the river. When Mom left the first time, she went to the perch for 10 or 15 mins & then flew off toward G/L after circling the fields for a while. After Mom's 2nd visit, she went to the mud hole on the ground behind the nest. She stayed there, taking occasional drinks of water, for about 20 mins or so then flew to perch in a pine next to their favorite perch tree. She was still there when we left to go get dinner.

B-back pulls pelt over 9:03:16, picks it up, drags it around & tries to eat it; the other B has a PS 9:06:11 then wingercizes; B-front picks up stk & places it on right crib rail 9:14:41; B9 gets up to check out nestovers 11:06:08; B8 picks up the pelt 11:06:30, but B9 gets it back; B8 flaps but does a nosedive 11:06:41; B8 on the rail to PS 11:07:28; B8 tries to eat pelt 11:07:35 & results in a tug-of-pelt with B9; B8 drags pelt & backs up onto the right rail 11:15:53; B9 is also interested in pelt & crowds in front of B8 11:17:00; B8 tries to self-feed on the rail 11:20:20; B8 gets off the rail 11:21:29, flaps & sets on B9's foot; D in FD w/fish 11:22:20 that B9 immediately snatches; D pulls fish to pantry & preps for feeding 11:22:44; D feeds B8 first bites 11:23:10; B9 joins in 11:23:46; Dad & kids track something flying around 11:48:57; D to LB 1:38:12 & out 1:38:15pm; B-left (B8) throws left wing over B-right (B9) 2:36:05; B-left gets up from resting 2:36:45, stretches, pulls out a fish tail 2:37:21, carries it, slings it down & then pounces on it w/right talon like a big Eagle 2:38:06 & drags it back; B-left wingercizes 2:38:39; B-left grabs his fish tail, pulls it to him 2:42:53 & self-feeds while B-right does a couple of right wing stretches; B-right gets up 2:44:12, PS 2:44:13, then grabs a pelt 2:45:16 & eats; B9 drops the pelt & grabs a nestover 2:56:10, then grabs the pelt again to work on 2:56:55; B9 gets a piece of the pelt stuck in his beak 2:59:29, he struggles to get it down or out for the next 20 minutes or so; B8 watches from the right rail as B9 struggles; B9 manages to get some of it down but still has a stringy piece hanging from his beak at 3:09:24; it looked like B9 finally got it down by 3:12:45, but he didn't; B9 grabs another nestover 3:13:48 & the stringy piece is still visible at 3:14:11; B9 rouses 3:19:18; B9 wanders over to the back right rail 3:20:38; the stringy piece appears to be gone by 3:21:51; B8 wing flaps & pounces on nestover w/right talon 3:50:43, B9 grabs it from B8 3:51:02, then B8 takes it back 3:51:12 & trips over B9 as he carries it; B8 spreads his wings 3:52:12; B9 grabs the pelt 3:52:49 & drags it around then takes a few bites; B9 wingercizing 3:53:55; B8 grabs the pelt 3:54:24 & gnaws on it; D in BD w/fish 3:58:32 & B9 rushes up first; B9 nibbles on fish & looks to D for help 3:59:10; D feeds babies 4:00:00; B8 snatches the fish away 4:02:25; M in BD 4:02:40 & almost lands on D & B8; M feeds B9 4:03:51; D steps up to RB 4:04:33 & flies off 4:04:37; M loses fish tail over the side 5:23:00pm & spends several minutes peering over edge looking for it; D in BD w/fish 5:47:39; M begins feeding 5:48:57; D to RB 5:49:21 & out 5:49:33; B's aren't too interested in eating; M to pantry 6:59:49 & eats leftovers; one B PS 7:10:17; M out BD 7:37:36; one B PS 8:08:31; M in BD 8:27:14; IR light on 8:31:04; M to LB 8:51:59; M to nest 10:04:26; M to LB 11:58:40pm.
