7/2/17 - Cam 1 froze then goes black 4:05:16am. Cam 2: IR light off 6:20:54am; Dad in BD 13:26:45; He calls out a few times; "dancing feather" shed at 14:41:06, dances around from 14:41:24 - 14:58:40; D to LB 16:12:55; D out 16:14:03.

7/4/17 - D in 6:15:47am, moves a stk 6:17:41; IR light off 6:20:27; D out 6:25:53.

7/16/17 - Per Earlene Cameron: This photo was taken of Dad Berry on the evening of July 16, 2017. He was on Mom's favorite perch. Earlier that day, Bill and I had seen both Mom and Dad in a recently cut field eating an unfortunate fawn that was a victim of the blade. So, both of our favorite eagles are still in the area!!

(84 & 82 days old). B8 woke up all alone this a.m.; perched on the right rail at 5:59:53am, looking a little lost & lonely; tucked his head back in for a few more Zzzzzzzz's. By 6:20, he was perched on the back rail; P flies past bottom right of the nest 06:32:55; 6:36 found B8 on the Cam pole; B8 was out on a limb at 7:35; D in BD w/fish 7:47:52; B89 to nest 7:48:22, D to LB 7:48:30 & out 7:49:09; B8 had mantled nicely & stood on the fish, but really didn't know what to do with it; by 8:10, B8 was eating; B9 in BD 8:20:30 and steals the fish, B8 moves over to the right rail; B8 steals some of the fish 8:39, so now they're both dining; B9 is finished by 8:42 & goes to LB 8:44:13; 10:42 finds both kiddos resting side-by-side. For the most part, the B's took it easy for most of the day; B9 takes off circa 5:15 (ApCam 54:47 per sela); M in BD w/squirrel 6:08:44, she & B8 dine together; ground crew reports that B9 is perched in a tree (not really visible) behind the nest tree; M to LB/out 7:16:37. As of 7:30pm, Bel reports that "Mom is perched two trees over, to the right and behind, the nest tree. B9 is perched one tree further away." Dad flew in and picked a high perch between Mom & B9 at 8:15pm.

Per TNT & Jani: 6:23:00am, one B looking out BD, the other B looking out FD; B-back to LB 6:25:09, out of view by 6:29:15; B-front PS 6:30:59 then to back rail, gets a stk in beak and hops to RB 6:32:24, drops the stk over nest edge, back to nest to check things out; IR light off 6:37:32; B-front to Y branch 6:38:47; both B's in nest by 6:52:41 pecking around; B9? hops up to Cam pole 6:55:18, shows off her feathers up close 6:56:21, hops/flies down to nest 6:57:08, hops to LB 6:57:28, back to nest for wingercizing 6:58:13, to LB 6:58:34 (she can't sit still!), to Cam pole 6:59:07, she continues to hop around until M comes in the BD w/squirrel at 7:15:08; both B's reach the prize at the same time, but B8 claims it (I think); B9 softly chatters her dismay to M; M to LB 7:25:28; M out 7:25:39; sketti pull 7:30:37; B9 to RB 7:31:37; B8 still feeding at 7:41:15; B9 finally steals some squirrel around 7:45:00; B8 to LB 7:46:46, feaking 7:48:16, moves up LB 7:48:32; B9 hops around nest w/tail 7:50:00; B8 to RB 7:50:31 then to nest, to RB 7:52:26, to LB 7:53:03; B9 finishes off squirrel by 7:56:00, wingercizes 7:58:56, to Cam pole around 8:03:22, to RB 8:03:45, back to Cam pole 8:04:18. B9 back to nest, then LB 10:33:49, then to center Y branch 10:35:37; after chewing on the cam for a few minutes and scratching the microphone, B9 climbs to the top of Cam 1 10:41:20, back to nest 10:41:49. Per TNT - unable to record time until 3:32:32 when M flew in via BD w/small UFO, B's mantle & one scarfs it down in one bite 3:22:42; M to LB 3:33:10 & out 3:33:27. Unable to record time until 5:37:23 when D flew in BD w/fish, lots of wings flapping all over the place as D tries to get out of the way of mantling kids; D to LB 5:37:32 as the B's scuffle over the food, mantle & squee; D out FD 5:39:38 (per Jani - D went to the favorite perch); M in BD w/turtle 6:21:31, mantling & squeeing ensues; M steps down from back rail to take control of the feeding; B-front plays w/turtle shell, which M picked clean, 6:57:17; M to LB 6:58:18 & out 6:58:24; IR light on 8:51:36pm.

Per Sasha - Dad in BD 7:06am (29:20:31); Dad to LYB 7:14am (29:29:00); Dad out LYB 7:14 (29:29:28). Per Bel - Dad flew straight toward Garden Lakes, he did not pass Go and did not collect $200, lol! 8:40am Mom Berry stopped by to pose on her favorite perch for a few minutes, just left toward Garden Lakes at 8:42am; don't know if she went that far, she was kind of flying low. Per Sasha - Cam1 reset 10:11am, Cam2 reset 1:18am.

Bel's Nest Log
Dad in LY 7:50am (17:39:04), Mom in BD 7:50am (17:39:11). Both acting like nothing has been amiss; pecking around in nest and nestorizing. Dad to RY and out 7:57am (17:45:15); Mom hops over LYB and out 8:05am (17:53:16). Dad back, in FD 8:06am (17:54:53) moves some sticks; Dad to LYB and out 8:10am (17:58:17). Mourning doves on nest 8:42am (18:30:29). Ground report: Jimmy P says the other female was perched on a tree (to the right side, toward the stadium). She watched mom and dad, they left the nest and landed together on Mom's favorite perch. Dad tried to mate with mom, she stared him down. Mom and dad flew off toward Garden Lakes, female flew off toward river. No confrontation this morning. Max went to G/L and saw mom over there. As of 2:00pm, no Eagles in nest area. Dad in 8:09pm, to RYB 8:13pm; spends the night alone. Video: Mom Is Home
