Bel's Nest Log

Cam1 reset 3:24am, Cam2 reset 3:31. M wakes up 5:58:02am, crop drops several times 5:58:15, wing stretch 5:59:15 & preens, yoga 6:35:27, M to LB 6:36:21 & out 6:36:31; kids are up & watch M leave; B-front scratches head 6:37:04; IR light off 6:39:05; S/C#1-D in FD w/squirrel 6:51:45; B9 gets the first bite 6:52:16 & then B8 gets up & waddles to the table 6:52:35 while D is pulling at sketti; B8 gets a big piece & turns away from the table to eat it 6:59:31, he waddles back to table w/it hanging from beak 7:00:17; B8 tries to cast pellet (I never saw it come out) 7:01:33, he heads back to the table for more food 7:04:00; B9 leaves the table 7:06:38; S/C#2-M in FD w/coot (almost lands on D & the kids) 7:12:36, M starts defeathering coot 7:13:05, D to LB 7:13:15 & out 7:13:30; M offers B9 a bite but he misses it & M gives it to B8 7:21:58; B8 sits up, ready to eat 7:22:20; feeding starts 7:22:30; B9 sits up 7:23:43; B9 PS's then walks up to the table 7:24:55 and is fed; B8 stretches then stands up & looks around 7:26:02; B8 grabs a bite 7:28:24; B9 gets a huge bite then M takes it away 7:28:59; 'sketti time 7:29:33; B8 watches in awe as M eats 7:38:11; B8 gets a last bite 7:38:58 & breakfast is over; B8 waddles over and snuggles with B9 (sweet beakering) 7:39:22; after fluffing the fluff, M moves a small stick at the Y nook 7:45:55; M feaks on the irksome stick at Y-nook 7:46:47 - 7:48:32 (I guess it's the feaking post now, lol); B9 plays "Dad" and moves a stick 8:31:35 & 8:32:20; B9 picks at fluff or something in the nest...or is casting a pellet 8:32:2; B9 gets rid of whatever it was hanging from his mouth 8:34:19; B9 stands up & flaps wings 7:25:07 (B8 watching him); B8 picks up whatever that thing is (pellet?) 8:35:16; B9 PS 8:36:30; D in FD w/squirrel 8:41:50; D to nest 8:42:26 & picks up stick that B9 moved 8:42:31; D digs in nest 8:43:20 & ends up putting fluff on B9; all 4 enjoy some quiet family time 8:45:25 (with M & D being very watchful); B8 hits M with a PS 9:21:43; B8 nips at D's chest feathers 9:21:56 & starts nibbling around D's feet 9:22:02; D rouses & it startles B8 (who doesn't take it out on B9, lol) 9:23:10; on his way out, D stops to get instructions f/M 9:23:40; D out BD 9:23:59; M does a beautiful wing stretch 10:04:37; M feeds B8 while B9 naps 10:05:07; B9 sits up & stretches 10:14:45; B9 does a tiny PS 10:16:08; B9 slips in next to B8 to form a cuddle puddle and they settle down for a nap 10:20:22; M out BD 10:21:37; M in FD w/fluff 10:25:09; M moves B9 & D's small stick 10:25:37 then digs in the nest; B8 grabs a coot foot from M & tries to swallow it 1:01:06; M pulls it out of B8's mouth 1:02:02 & feeds pieces of it; M feeds them squirrel for lunch 1:06pm; after sitting with the babies, M goes to the LB 2:21:48 & out 2:22:19; S/C#3-D in BD w/rabbit (?) 2:29:40; M makes a beautiful fly-in the BD w/fluff 2:59:14 then M covers babies with fluff & D digs in the nest; D out BD 3:06:22; M moves over to try to cover her big babies 3:11:24.
