old) B9 spent most the night on the LB, while B8 spent time between the nest
& back rail, head scratch 6:45:44am; B9 to nest 6:46:34, to LB 6:47:39,
wing flaps 6:48:54; B8 to RB 6:49:17; B9 rouses 6:50:22, moves up LB out of cam
view 6:50:37; B8 PS 6:50:55 then flaps wings; B8 to LB 6:51:10; IR light off
6:54:25; B9 to nest 7:34:14, wing flaps & wingercizing, grabs stk &
perches on it 7:35:08; B8 to nest 7:35:43; B8 curious about the stick B9 is
perched on & B9 starts biting off pieces of it & playing with it; B8 to
LB 7:37:54; B's interested in something off nest (P?) 7:38:52; B9 to RB
7:40:05; B8 to nest 7:40:47; B8 plays with B9's stick 7:41:05; B9 jumps back to
nest 7:43:44 to reclaim the stick; B8 to Y-nook 7:44:38 then moves up LB; B9 to
LB 7:49:00; B9 moves over to RB 7:52:05am; B9 moves up RB out of view 8:23:05;
B8 wing flap & squeees 9:20:49 as D(?) arrives via FD w/HUGE fish 9:20:53;
B9 pounces on it 9:20:56 & squeees in delight & frustration because she
needs it unzipped; D(?) out BD 9:22:18; B9 tugs at fish 9:22:42, then stands on
it trying to figure out what to do with it; B9 tries starting with fish head
9:24:38; B9 making progress & gets a bite at 9:25:32; B9 tries hopping with
the fish 9:32:50 (still not much progress); B8 to nest 9:35:46 to check out
fish & B9 finally getting a few bites; B8 tries to take the fish 9:36:29
& B9 steps off it; B8 claims the fish & drags it to pantry 9:37:05; B9
jumps to LB 9:37:45; B9 jumps to RB 9:38:20 & jumps further out 9:38:41; B9
moves further out (only one talon showing) 9:39:11; D in BD w/fish #2 9:46:56
& B9 jumps down to get it; D to RB 9:47:51 & out 9:48:04; B9 tries to
figure out how to eat the fish 9:48:30; B8 comes over to check out fish #2
9:49:37 & tkes it 9:49:40 but B9 puts a foot on it & they tussle over
it with B9 winning; B9 tries to drag it away 9:50:30; B9 moves fish to right
side of nest 9:51:14 then back to the middle (more dragging than eating going
on); B8 goes to LB 9:53:12 and B9 attacks fish #2 9:53:41; B9 starts eating on
unzipped fish #1 9:54:01; B8 hops to nest & claims fish #2 9:54:19; B9 mock
charges B8 9:54:53, B8 doesn't miss a beat; B9 goes back to fish #1 9:55:25
while B8 plays with fish #2 then starts eating it; B8 to Y-nook 10:07:42 then
moves to LB; B8 moves out of view 10:10:15; B9 to RB 10:15:16 & out of view
10:16:03; B8 PS 11:13:08 & jumps to nest 11:13:10; B8 nibbles at fish #1
11:14:05 then balances on wobbly rail 11:14:22 & then goes back to nibbling
on fish; B8 hops from back rail to LB 11:18:50; B8 to nest 11:19:16 & back
to LB 11:19:39; B8 to nest 11:22:05; B8 climbs to LB 11:24:33 next to B9; B8
moves over to LB 11:26:53 & out of sight 11:27:10; B9 S 11:39:14 & to
nest 11:40:01 & grabs fish 11:40:22 & starts nibbling; B9 to LB
11:51:08; B9 to nest 11:51:29 & heads to back rail; then jumps to wobbly
stick 11:51:59 and moves around the nest; B8 moves down LB 11:53:04 & jumps
to nest 11:53:11; B9 grabs fish 11:53:29 & finally decides to eat on wobbly
rail; B9 sees D & starts squeeeing 11:56:51; D in BD w/headless fish #3
11:56:56; d to LB 11:57:59; B8 leaps to LB next to D 11:58:31; B9 rushes across
nest to wobbly stick to yell at D 11:59:28; D out 11:59:59; M in BD w/headless
fish #4 12:06:16 & B9 rushes her & yells; B9 gets louder & B8
chimes in when M moves a fish 12:07:03; after M catches her breath a bit she
starts feeding B9 12:08:06 & B8 comes down to join the 12:08:18; M feeding
B9 fast enough to quiet B9 down a bit 12:09:10 while B8 starts self-feeding; B8
tries to steal the fish M has but she keeps control 12:10:05; B8 eating on his
own 12:10:38 & M continues to feed B9; B8 PS 12:20:10; B8 to Y-nook
12:20:16; B9 is finished eating & chitters at M 12:25:01 & then runs to
Y-nook 12:25:12; B9 PS 12:25:50; B9 leaps to back of nest 12:26:16 as M looks
around at the messy nest; B9 to RB 12:26:53; M to LB 12:27:17 between the
babies & then she flies off 12:27:24; B9 moves up RB 12:28:01; D in BD
w/headless fish #5 1:30:10; B8 comes down to nest 1:30:19 while B9 yells from
RB; D starts eating fish 1:31:06; B8 hops over & gets on LB 1:31:13 &
wingercises; a fussing B9 jumps down to nest 1:31:48 to be fed by D; B8 joins
them 1:32:15; D out BD 1:38:51 & both kids watch him fly away; B9 to LB
1:40:41 as B8 eats some fish; B9 moves up out of view 1:41:45; B8 to LB 1:45:04
& B9 wings are stretched out over B8; B8 to nest 1:50:49; B9 to nest
2:24:47 & lays down next to B8 2:24:56; kids track something flying
2:40:55; B9 flaps & jumps 2:41:40 & B8 still tracking something; B8 to
LB 2:42:30; B9 to Y-nook 2:42:41 then back to nest; B9 to RB 2:43:43; B9 moves
out of view on RB 2:44:34; B8 moves out view on LB 2:52:58; B8 to nest 3:43:52;
B8 to LB next to B9 3:44:18; B8 jumps to nest 3:44:53 & walks back up RB
3:45:18 & back to nest 3:45:57; B8 lays down 3:47:38; D in FD w/headless
fish #6 3:58:41 & B9 jumps from RB & rushes D (B8 stays laying down); D
starts picking up pieces of fish from front-left side of nest 3:59:00 &
feeding them to B9; D still on side of nest cleaning up crumbs 4:00:23 &
climbs back u 4:00:30; D cleaning up side of nest again 4:01:00 (with B9
yelling in his ear); D climbs back up to nest 4:04:11; D picks up fish head
& feeds B9 4:04:35; B9 tries self-feeding 4:05:27 then D feeds B9 some more
4:05:56; D to LB 4:07:25 & out 4:07:37; B9 to Y-nook 4:11:06; B9 to nest
4:11:52; B9 hops & flaps up to RB 4:14:43; B9 moves up RB out of view
4:20:33; B8 gets up 4:39:33 & steps up to LB 4:39:52; B8 PS 4:41:08; B8 to
nest 5:14:20 & lays down 5:14:30; (don't know when B9 went up LB or when I
mixed them up, lol)…B9 to nest 5:29:08 & lays down next to B8; B9 moves the
divider stick while eating fish 6:22:30; D in FD w/fish head 6:45:05; B9 talks
to D while B8 gets up 6:45:28 & B8 hops to RB; B8 flap/hops to LB 6:46:06;
B8 PS 6:46:40 then wingercises. Cam 1 reset
9:16:24pm. After looking around
for a while, D starts on the fish head and feeds B9 while h/s is still laying
down 7:04:47; little nuthatch? on right side of nest 7:14:53; B9 gets up
7:21:45; B9 ps 7:21:56; B9 to RB 7:22:29; moves farther up RB 7:22:57; Moves
almost out of cam view 7:23:55; out of view 7:25:03; B9 continues chirping from
the RB to dad as he works on the fish; B9 stretches a foot into view 7:35:36; D
to LB 7:41:15; D out 7:41:26; B9 hops to nest and lays down 8:04:05; B8 ps
8:44:07; B8 hops to nest 8:44:16; IR comes on 8:48:19.
