(67 & 65 days); Per TNT, Jani & Jerri - B8 up 5:47:17am; B9 stirs but not quite ready to get up 5:49:00; B8 perches on front rail for PS 5:51:41, head scratch 5:52:12, 6:11:37 & 6:12:26; B8 still perched & B9 still resting 6:24:00; another head scratch for B8 6:27:16; B9 left wing stretch 6:39:05, 6:42:10; B8 wing stretch 6:43:03, crop drop 6:45:00; B9 lifts tail feathers & spreads 6:45:11; B9 up 6:45:42 with a wing stretch & leg lift, PS off back rail 6:46:15, hop to center of nest 6:46:36, wing flaps 6:47:08, moves big branch slightly 6:47:15, wing flaps over to pantry to tug & nibble on nestover 6:47:38; B8 wing stretch 6:50:09; B9 talon attack on ufo 6:50:32, picks up ufo 6:50:49 to play w/it; B8 wing flap & stretch 6:50:54, another PS 6:51:13 then wingercizes, to nest 6:51:32 for some stk play time, B9 joins in; B9 wingercizes 6:52:12, hops to Y-nook 6:52:46; B8 lays down 6:53:05; B9 head scratch 6:54:28; IR light off 6:55:32; B8 up 6:59:58, steps up to RYB next to sib 7:01:16, preens B9 7:04:34, back to nest 7:05:46 & flaps to back rail; Typical morning on the nest! Kiddos standing around on the Y branch! B9 found a scrap of food and after running around with it she tried to feed it to B8 at 9:56 and again at 10:02:55. B9 also found a bone joint in the railing and ended up having a short tug of war with B8; Morning spent wingersizing, picking at sticks and such and lazing around; Afternoon: P(M?) in to LB 12:44:01; Babies have a hissy fits and demand food; P out 12:47:54; B8 pulls on rudder 2:50:06; D in BD w/fish 4:50:34; B8 grabs it and mantles; D to RB 4:50:55; D out 4:51:10; M in FD w/squirrel 4:52:29; B8 continues eating fish while B9 waits for M to give it up; M starts feeding B9 4:54:14; B8 abandons fish and gets fed by M 4:55:04; M grabs the fish and takes it to the pantry 5:01:19; B9 grabs squirrel from M 5:08:43; M swallows the fish tail 5:08:52; B9 throws a tantrum wanting M to feed him 5:10:58; M out BD 5:12:51; D in BD w/fish 5:46:49; D feeds B8 5:47:10; Feeds B9 5:47:35; B8 steps on Y nook 5:49:23; B9 grabs the tail from D 6:04:15; D grabs the mangled squirrel 6:04:53; D swallows a leg 6:05:39; D continues dismantling as the babies watch with curiosity; B8 gets bored and lays down 6:10:33; B9 hops on Y nook 6:15:49; B8 gets up 6:22:04; gets fed some more from D 6:22:13; B8 tugs at squirrel pelt 6:28:15; B8 ps 6:29:55; B8 goes to rt Y nook 6:30:10; then flaps to bk rt rail to chew on upper branch 6:30:56; B9 rouses 6:32:03; B8 hops from bk rail to ft rail 6:32:45; B8 rouses 6:35:38; lays in nest 6:36:15; B8 gets up and grabs a piece of squirrel from D 6:54:02; B8 grabs pelt and takes it to the right side of nest 6:54:35; B8 swallows pelt 6:57:28; D to LB 6:59:32; D out 6:59:52; M in BD w/grass 7:03:13; B8 grabs some and starts spreading it around 7:03:25; B8 & B9 beak kisses 7:05:41; M to RB 7:06:21; M out 7:06:34; B8 lays on new grass 7:08:40; B9 ps 7:27:10; B9 hops to nest 8:13:55; lays down 8:14:05; IR comes on 8:38:19.
