After watching the grass grow in an empty nest all summer long, Dad showed up on the 1st at 9:00 a.m., and again for a minute on the 12th. Mom graced us with her presence on the 9th, much to the delight of all Berry lovers.

Mom and Dad were on the nest for the first time together on the 15th just before 8:00 p.m. They did a little housekeeping and then branched, apparently for the night.

For the next week or so, one or the other spent the night at the nest, usually on a branch. It seemed as though they couldn't get their date nights in sync. Finally, on the 22nd, both showed up within minutes of each other and spent the night together.

On the 23rd, Dad brought in the first stick of the season. The 28th was the final night spent together at the nest for the month.
